Radisson Blu Hotel, Trabzon

During our family vacation last week, we had the pleasure of staying at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Trabzon, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment we checked in, we were impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hotel's prime location, right on the Black Sea coast, provided stunning views that left us in awe. The highlight of our mornings was undoubtedly the fantastic breakfast with a view. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, ensuring a relaxing stay for our family. We left with cherished memories of our time at the Radisson Blu Hotel, and we're grateful for the hospitality and the breathtaking breakfast views.

I’m not sure how this is a 5-star hotel, all their services and amenities are average. They match a 3-star hotel compared to other countries. Pros: Clean rooms and good food. Great view and scenery from the balcony. There is a good attraction nearby. Cons: Since it’s on top of the city, very hard to walk to anywhere and not walking distance to most places. Poor English or Arabic language staff. Swimming pool is not heated. Small rooms and bathrooms. Over all good, but not worth the price and 5-stars. Nothing special about it.

Rooms are nice but not that cleaned I saw more than 2 bugs.. The service is overall really bad, we asked them to bring a plate and knife, they refused!! Breakfast is really nice and the restaurant is really big with great views+the restaurant for dinner is amazing good food and the best service. The location is nice for view but it’s a bit hard to go to

Pros: The hotel room is modern, clean, and spacious. All amenities in the shower room are provided. The sea view is amazing as the hotel is located on top of the hill. I also like the sea view from the hotel cafe. The staff are amazing and helpful, particularly Dennis, Mohammad, and another Turkish guy whose name I cannot recall. Cons: Since the hotel is located on top of the hill, it is a 10-minute car/taxi ride to Trabzon Meydan. So, if you intend to do a lot of shopping, the location is inconvenient. There are no tourist attractions nearby within walking distance. The good thing is that a standard yellow taxi is available and it uses the meter, so the cost reaches a maximum of 100 lira one way. There was one instance when the yellow cab was busy, so we had to go for a premium taxi that charged 200 lira to Trabzon city.

Radisson Trabzon is an absolute standout! Its location offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city, making every moment extraordinary. The front desk personnel were attentive and accommodating, ensuring a seamless stay. The breakfast spread was delightful, catering to various tastes. The hotel's overall appeal, stylish decor, and expansive lobby exuded sophistication. The spa facilities were exceptional, and the pool area was a perfect spot to unwind. A remarkable stay with all the luxuries one could wish for in Trabzon!

I had dinner with family at the only restaurant there. It was the worst experience ever for me. I’ve been to Radisson blu in different countries but this one was literally the worst. The food was really really bad with a bad quality of meat and the service wasn’t good at all. When we complained they didn’t make it up to us. They just made us pay much more that it’s worth. It’s over priced and over rated and I advise the hotel to close down its restaurant as it’s the worst in Trabzon.

We spent 2 nights there, very friendly helpful staff, rooms exceptionally clean and has everything you might need, the only small disadvantage that Google maps took me from very bad roads uphill hitting closed roads so I was forced to make many searches until I could reach the hotel, especially that was my first visit and drive in Trabzon, the other small thing that prices was really high (1 normal mountain view room for 250€) but it's the season I think. Anyway it was with good breakfast.

The worst service I have seen ever in a hotel. There is no respect to the guests. We waited in the reception area for 6 hours, as we arrived at 11:00, thinking that the check-in would be at 12 noon. The reception staff informed us that according to the hotel's policy the check-in will be at 14:00. BUT Unfortunately WE GOT OUR ROOMS at 17:00 although the reservation was confirmed!!!!! This was the start!!! We do not want to tell the hole unpleasant story and talk about bad service in general, but let's confine to mentioning the closing ceremony ..... On the last day of our journey twenty minutes before leaving the hotel we went to the restaurant to have the breakfast and when we wanted to return back to the rooms to take the baggage we were surprised that all elevators were not working, we asked one of the employees what's going on? And we got amazing answer: He told us ... showing by his finger to the stairs and he said that there is maintenance for the elevators!!!! he did not care that the restaurant is on the -4th floor and our rooms are on the 3rd floor, and after an aggressive discussion, one of the elevators was fixed.
